Louvre

Louvre light is an interactive table lamp inspired by the greek summer sunlight that passes easily from closed shutters through louvres. It is Consisted of 20 rings, 6 of cork and 14 of plexiglass, which change order with a playful way so as to transform diffusion, volume and the final aesthetic of the light according to users' preferences and needs. Light passes through the material and causes diffusion, so no shadows appear on itself neither on the surfaces around it. Rings with different heights give the opporunity of endless combinations, safe customisation and total light control.

TIND End Table

The TIND End Table is a small, eco-friendly table with a strong visual presence. The recycled steel top has been waterjet-cut with an intricate pattern that creates vivid light and shadow patterns. The shapes of the bamboo legs are determined by the patterning in the steel top, and each of the fourteen legs passes through the steel top and then is cut flush. Seen from above, the carbonized bamboo creates an arresting pattern, juxtaposed against the perforated steel. Bamboo is a rapidly renewable raw material, since bamboo is a rapidly-growing grass, not a wood product.

Abstaining from the superficial, it intends that the piece is functional and meets the requirements for which it was designed for. This project was developed by Danilo Olim

Bean Series 2

This table was designed by Bean Buro principle designers Kenny Kinugasa-Tsui and Lorene Faure. The project was inspired by the wiggly shapes of French Curves and the puzzle jigsaws, and serves as the central piece in an office conference room. The overall shape is full of wiggles, which is a dramatic departure from the traditional formal corporate conference table. The three parts of the table can be reconfigured in to different overall shapes to vary seating arrangements; the constant state of change creates a playful atmosphere for the creative office.

Twins

The Twins coffee table concept is simple. A hollow coffee table stores two full wooden seats inside. The right and left surfaces of the table, are actually lids that can be pulled out of the main body of the table in order to allow the extraction of the seats. The seats have foldable legs that have to be rotated so to get the chair in the right position. Once the chair, or both chairs are out, the lids go back at the table. When the chairs are out, the table also works as a huge storing compartment.

NI

The brand new NI Parasol redefines lighting in a way that it can be more than a luminous object. Innovatively combining a parasol and garden torch, NI looks smart standing beside sun loungers on the poolside or other outdoor areas, from morning to night. The proprietary finger-sensing OTC (one-touch dimmer) allows users to adjust to desired lighting levels of the 3-channel lighting system at ease. NI also adopts a low voltage 12V LED driver that generates very little heat, providing an energy-efficient power supply for the system with over 2000 pieces of 0.1W LEDs.
