Ametis

As is the hallmark of organic design, Ametis is a seemingly simple object. The continuous line of the shower column never seems to stop; an LED lighting system illuminates the shower features while creating a halo of light to enhance a chosen “chroma” mood; and solid shapes and dynamic elements meld together harmoniously for a perfect balance of function and design. The collection can be described as a symbol of the fusion between the universe above and the oceans below.

Tensegrity Space Frame

The Tensegrity space frame light utilizes R.B.Fuller's principle of 'Less for more' to produce a light fixture using only its light source and electrical wire. Tensegrity becomes the structural means by which both work mutually in compression and tension to produce a seemingly discontinuous field of light defined only by its structural logic. Flux

Mehran Gharleghi and Amin Sadeghy from Studio INTEGRATE have created “Flux Table” within their exploration of fusing historically rooted geometries with contemporary modes of computation. Its intricate form and pattern is derived from a basic "Toranj", a mathematical pattern used in Iranian architecture; from which a smooth transition between two layers of a strict geometric pattern is constructed. The geometrical pattern at the top surface fuses to the bottom layer through a series of multi-directional arches. The generated form is manufactured using digital fabrication.
