Cocoda

Cocoda is a chair made of solid wood. The chair is characterized by intricate three-dimensional curved arms, which are carved from solid wood. This shape cannot be produced by bending wood. Each piece is hand-carved by craftsmen using Japanese planes and knives. The carved seat feels soft although the wood is hard, allowing long periods of sitting. The design keeps only the necessary functions, following the idea that simplicity brings comfort and beauty. The chair measures 700 mm in width, 520 mm in depth and 725 mm in height, with a seat height of 420 mm.

Micode is an intelligent home sleep system designed to improve sleep quality. The system combines a mattress, an electric bedstead, a bedside unit and a pillow, the objects used most often in the bedroom. The mattress has a five layer structure with independent springs and partitions that adapt to the body curve to provide even support. The pillow contains a sleep monitoring sensor that records daily sleep and offers suggestions for improvement. Bedstead modes are changed through an application or a remote control, so one bed can serve both rest and leisure.

It is as if the bones gave life and growth to its delicate, firm, and strong existence and then found itself immersed in a light, or other words, a light that blossomed from within. Sepideh got its name from the alien, so when a person feels like a foreigner or alien, her inner roots are like a new life. The roots inside have a longing to be freed and rely on the safe point of the boundary.
